INDIGENOUS LINKS

Recently completed in May 2020, Cameraygal Park establishes itself as a passive space for local residents and workers. The site references the ingenious Cameraygal people with the use of hard and soft materials. Existing vegetation is retained where possible and strengthened with use of bush tucker plants and species important to the indigenous culture. Interpretive art boards are used to tell the story of the Cameraygal people. Sandstone logs, planting and signage creates a strong identity and place.
